100% handmade with Ecuadorian Toquilla Straw (Carludivica Palmata). Handwoven by our artisans (in a process that can take between 2-3 weeks), you will have a piece of art in your hands. This Ecuadorian tradition was declared as intangible cultural heritage of humanity by UNESCO in 2012.

This reimagined Toquilla bucket hat is crochet woven with natural colored and black straw. It comes with black twine wraps attached by gold plated details and three “sorrow” dolls that will take your sorrows away, according to local tradition. We like to call this style: Andean Chic.

We ship directly from our atelier in the Ecuadorian Andes to your home in the US.
